5 Days Amboseli and Masai Mara(1)

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (Approx.45 mins fly time.
Pick up this morning from your Nairobi hotel or residence and transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight scheduled to depart at 0730hrs to Amboseli National Park; crowned by Mt Kilimanjaro and lying below the most famous symbol of Africa; Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. On arrival at 0815hrs, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your camp. Morning game drive en route. Lunch at your camp followed by afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp on full board basis. (Lunch and Dinner included).

Day 3: Amboseli – Masaai Mara (Via Nairobi).
Early breakfast and check out. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight scheduled to depart at 0815hrs back to Nairobi where on arrival at 0930hrs, you will connect at 1030hrs to Masaai Mara National Reserve. Offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game, it is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. On arrival at 1115hrs, you will be met by the camp vehicle and transferred to your Camp. Game drive enroute. Lunch at your lodge followed by a late afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp on full board basis. (Breakfast, lunch and Dinner included)
Early morning optional balloon ride at an extra cost. (Enjoy the thrill of gliding high above the impressive Masai Mara savannah while looking down at herds of elephants and zebras tottering beneath you. A champagne breakfast awaits you in the middle of the bush). Morning and afternoon game drives with meals and overnight at your lodge/Camp (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is included)
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight scheduled to depart at 1115hrs to Nairobi where on arrival at 1300hrs, you will met by our driver and transferred to your residence or hotel. (Breakfast included)

3 Day Masai Mara Experience

The Masai Mara features a stunning kaleidoscope of wild and rugged landscapes, warm and welcoming people and an exciting array of creatures – big and small. Masai Mara is famous for hosting the epic Great Wildebeest Migration where over 1,5 million wildebeests migrate onto its sprawling savannahs each July through October.

Pick up this morning from your residence in Nairobi and after a safari briefing, drive on the floor of the Great Rift (with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint – Here you can watch
the enthralling Rift valley with its vast vegetation and the sun rays kissing the far and wide stretching mountains in the surrounding. The Great Rift Valley is a wonder of the world stretching from the Middle East passing through Africa and has a great and vast chunk in East African part and ends in Mozambique in the South.) Proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game, it is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. (Enjoy the thrill of gliding high above the impressive Masai Mara savannah while looking down at herds of elephants and zebras tottering beneath you. A champagne breakfast awaits you in the middle of the bush). Wholeday spent in the reserve, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where your search for the Big Five continues. These are the lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village at an extra cost. All meals and overnight at Camp/lodge on full board basis (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is included)
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi.
After breakfast, check out at 1000hrs and drive leisurely back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at JKIA or Nairobi hotel.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Aberdare national Park (Approx 3hrs driving time)
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and drive to the Aberdare National Park; the park is characterized by the picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland containing a wide range of landscapes from mountain peaks that rise to 4,000 meters above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. It’s a habitat for the wild and rarer sightseeing of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species. Arrive for lunch at Aberdare Country club, the base hotel for the Ark Lodge. Later enjoy game viewing en route to your lodge. Day 5: Aberdare – Nakuru National park (Approx. 2hrs driving time).
After breakfast, check out and drive Along the Aberdare ranges to Lake Nakuru National Park, This Park was originally declared a national park because of a superbly diverse bird population, which includes many migrants; the park is also a favorite place for travelers who seek the rare black rhino. Arrive for lunch followed by afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp on full board basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 6: Nakuru – Masaai Mara (approx. 5hrs driving time)
Check out after breakfast and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. 5 Days Masai Mara Private Safari

The Great Wildebeest Migration, is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”. No where in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wilde beast. migration, over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October. The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them.
- Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

DAY 1: NAIROBI MASAI MARA
A representative from Orogu Tours and Travel will meet you on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a short briefing on your safari you will then depart Nairobi for Masai Mara. You will drive towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for great picture opportunities.
The Great Rift Valley is geologic phenomena, which divides Kenya neatly down the length of the country essentially separating east from west. Today’s Rift Valley is characterized by uninhabitable desert and fertile farmland, flat arid plains, steep escarpments and 07 lakes in Kenya. Descend to the floor of the Rift Valley and drive across it to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, picnic lunch at Narok town then proceed to Masai Mara. Check into the lodge have a Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, enjoy your first game drive in the sprawling Masai Mara Game reserve.
Dinner and overnight at your Camp/Lodge.
Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara National Reserve.
Full days in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs respectively.
Considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Masai Mara adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, bualo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. From June to September, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas. All meals and overnight at your Camp/Lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with picnic lunches at Narok town. Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive that takes you to the shores of the Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is famous for Flamingos, Pelicans and other birds. The animals found here include Rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, waterbucks, lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight at your Camp/Lodge.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi.
Depart Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast with enroute game drive to Nairobi. Lunch at own arrangements. You will later be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward fight back home.
